The Weather Network begins A Brighter Day promotion

The Weather Network has launched a new online property called “A Brighter Day.” The property, located at <http://www.theweathernetwork.ca/brighterday>, will focus exclusively on positive news content. According to the company, the intent is to provide consumers with “hope and inspiration” during the COVID-19 pandemic. The website will be accompanied by social media content on Instagram and Twitter. The television channel’s morning and evening programs will also feature highlights. The Weather Network is owned by Pelmorex.
“Now more than ever, it’s important to seek out stories that give us hope,” said Sam Sebastian, president and CEO of The Weather Network and Pelmorex. “Watching Canadians come together throughout this crisis has been truly inspiring. We created ‘A Brighter Day’ to highlight the uplifting stories coming out of our communities and remind everyone that, together, we’ll weather this storm.
