Royal Botanical Gardens begins website contest

The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON has redesigned its website at <>. The new design is intended to be more accessible via mobile devices. It also includes an improved navigation system and a new visual style. The site was designed by TBK.

The site is being launched with a contest promotion called the “RBG Spring Flower Hunt,” intended to highlight what flowers are in bloom at the gardens each week. Visitors can participate by searching for a specified bloom hidden on a page of the site. Winners will receive a one-year family membership to the gardens as well as lunch for four at an on-site restauraunt. The contest is being supported with social media content.

“We’re excited to celebrate the emergence of spring with this unique and captivating new platform,” said Mark Runciman, CEO of the Royal Botanical Gardens. “The new provides an inspiring virtual connection to the Gardens where visitors can experience RBG at home in a whole new way including a full lineup of resources, activities, virtual programming and bloom experiences.”
