Passage: JR Shaw

JR Shaw, founder of Toronto-based Corus Entertainment, has passed away at the age of 85. Shaw was founded Edmonton-based radio and television company Shaw Communications in 1966. The firm was spun-off into Corus in 1999. He was also an Officer of the Order of Canada, a recipient of the Alberta Order of Excellence, and a member of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
