The Toronto-based Hudson's Bay Foundation has announced a donation of $1 million to charitable organizations Food Banks Canada and Kids Help Phone to support their COVID-19 response activities. Each organization will receive $500,000 to help address the increased demand on their services.
“Through the Hudson's Bay Foundation we have an opportunity to provide critical support to Canadians at a time of unprecedented need,” said Iain Nairn, president of Hudson's Bay. “This commitment will directly impact the well-being of our communities, customers and associates ensuring access to real-time mental health support for our children, as well as helping alleviate the stress for families who rely on these vital organizations everyday.”
