Obviously AI launches data analysis service
By Adnews Staff
Obviously AI, a machine learning company based in Berkeley, CA, has debuted a new service aimed at marketing and sales professionals, among others. The service is intended to allow non-data scientists to ask analytical or predictive questions using natural language, the answers to which will be drawn from the client’s own data. According to the company, the service is the first of its kind. Users upload their data to the service, then ask questions via an online interface similar to that of a search engine.
“We realized that business users cared about getting decision making insights about their customers, products and its usage,” said Nirman Dave, CEO of Obviously AI. “This often meant writing frustrating SQL queries and waiting on web engineers who would try to figure out machine learning algorithms. That’s why we have been on a mission to make data science effortless just by asking questions. It’s amazing what marketers, salespeople and other non-technical business users can learn when they use our platform.”
