Captain Morgan to sponsor Major League Soccer Canada

Alcohol distribution company Diageo Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with Major League Soccer Canada. Through this agreement, the company’s Captain Morgan brand will become the official rum sponsor of the league. The agreement includes a marketing campaign that will encompass signage at the venues of the Toronto FC, Montreal Impact and Vancouver Whitecaps teams, as well as broadcast advertising on TSN, TVA and other sports media properties. Captain Morgan is already a sponsor of the Toronto FC, as well as five US-based teams in the league.
