Honda Canada Foundation sponsors Canadian Cancer Society

The Honda Canada Foundation has signed a new sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Cancer Society. Through this two-year agreement, the automaker will provide ten Honda Odyssey minivans to the charity’s Wheels of Hope transportation program. The vehicles will be used to assist cancer patients get to their medical treatments in the Greater Toronto Area, Cornwall, Winnipeg, Prince Albert and Calgary. Honda will also donate the cost of insurance and maintenance for the vans.
“The Canadian Cancer Society is an organization making a real difference in communities across the country, which is something the Honda Canada Foundation wholeheartedly supports,” said Dave Jamieson, chair of the foundation. “Knowing that these vehicles will be used in such a kind and compassionate way is as inspiring as it is rewarding.”
