Cox Automotive readies online chat service

Cox Automotive Canada of Mississauga has signed an agreement with Rapid RTC of Winnipeg through which Rapid will integrate its online live chat technology into Cox’s and Dealertrack Digital Retailing systems. The new feature is intended to recreate the experience of speaking with a dealer for consumers using Cox’s online services. Consumers will be able to connect with a salesperson at a dealership showroom to ask questions about potential vehicle purchases.

“As we continue to look for ways to transform the way the world buys, sells, owns and utilizes cars,  we’re excited to partner with Rapid RTC to help Canadians bridge the gap between the online and in-store experience,” said Maria Soklis, president of Cox Automotive Canada. “By partnering with Rapid RTC, our and Dealertrack Digital Retailing solutions will further empower online consumers and improve their journey when purchasing a vehicle.”
