BC Lottery Corporation readies OMG campaign

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation of Vancouver has begun a new advertising campaign called “OMG” to promote its Lotto 6/49 product. The effort is intended to raise awareness of the lottery’s secondary prize, which takes the form of a raffle draw for a guaranteed one million dollar prize per draw. The campaign, developed by Pound & Grain of Vancouver, consists of a 30-second television commercial in which a winning family repeatedly says “OMG.” During the second half of the campaign, the creative will also promote the lottery’s primary prize. The 13-week campaign broke on Dec. 30. Media work is being conducted by MediaCom.
