Cadbury conducts phone booth promotion in Toronto

Candy company Cadbury recently conducted a holiday season promotion in Toronto in support of its Dairy Milk brand. The campaign, developed by Ogilvy Canada, made use of a purple British-style telephone booth temporarily installed in a Toronto park. The booth encouraged consumers to make a free telephone call to their mother or any other person in the world. The booth also dispensed a sample of the product when the telephone was hung up. The campaign also includes an online video depicting the event.

“Instead of shouting at consumers, we let them do the talking,” said Brian Murray, chief creative officer at Ogilvy Canada.
