Montreal-based consumer rights advocacy organization Option consommateurs has launched a new publication called OC Magazine. The bilingual magazine will cover consumer affairs topics such as privacy, food, health, money, transportation, justice, the environment, housing, telecommunications and commercial practices. Maryse Guénette has been appointed to the position of editor of OC Magazine.
“OC Magazine's insights into consumer trends will continue to provide food for thought,” said Christian Corbeil, CEO of Option consommateurs and publisher of OC Magazine. “We want policy makers, journalists, academics and citizens to consider it an essential tool of reference. We believe there is a need for a publication of a new kind, one that is free and totally dedicated to major issues in consumer affairs.”
