Lexus debutes limited edition athletic shoe

Lexus Canada has begun a promotion is collaboration with Vancouver-based fashion designer Christopher Bates. As part of the initiative, the Bates has designed an athletic shoe “inspired” by the Lexus UX compact sport utility vehicle. The product uses the colours of the vehicle as well as the materials used in its upholstery. The shoes will be sold for a limited time at Lexus dealerships nationally.
“Style and craftsmanship are core pillars of the Lexus brand so we‘re honoured to partner with iconic Canadian designer Christopher Bates,” said Robert Tsang, director of Lexus in Canada. “Our shared values have resulted in a sneaker that makes an undeniable statement on the street, just like the Lexus UX does on the road.”
