Post conducts Double Shreddies promotion

Post Consumer Brands is conducting a promotion for its Shreddies cereal brand called “Double Shreddies.” Developed by Ogilvy Canada, the social media campaign encourages consumers to post to Facebook or Instagram when they find two Shreddies joined together. Those who do will be entered into a draw for branded merchandise such as sunglasses and cufflinks. The promotion also includes an online video hosted on Facebook. It will run until July 28.

“I was always excited to find a Double Shreddie as a kid, and now my kids are just as excited,” said Brian Murray, chief creative officer at Ogilvy Canada. “This campaign is all about celebrating Double Shreddies. In the first week, the campaign had close to 1,000 Double Shreddies photo shares and 100% positive sentiment. Fans are getting into it.”
