Postmedia begins photojournalism campaign

Postmedia Network of Toronto has begun a new brand campaign highlighting the photojournalism of its newspapers. The campaign, developed in-house, is running in 15 of the company’s newspapers. The creative in daily broadsheet papers features news photographs from the publications with the copy, “Inform, Connect, Enlighten.” Executions running in Sun newspapers feature the copy, “Inform, Provoke, Engage.” The print ads are being accompanied by online ads.

“This campaign underscores the fact that a great picture can tell an entire story, ask an important question or demand immediate action all in one captured moment,” said Lucinda Chodan, senior vice-president of content at Postmedia. “Our talented photojournalists shine in this new initiative that invites readers to connect with stories from communities across Canada.”
