Swiss Chalet begins national contest

Restaurant chain Swiss Chalet has begun a contest promotion to coincide with its 65th anniversary. The national contest, called “Come Home to Swiss,” encourages consumers to submit personal stories about the restaurant online at <http://www.comehometoswiss.com> or by social media. Sixty-five winners will receive free food from Swiss Chalet for a year. The contest will run until July 1. In addition, the chain will conduct a one-day promotion on June 23 during which its quarter-chicken dinner will be offered at a discounted price. Swiss Chalet is a division of Recipe Unlimited, formerly Cara Operations.
“For more than six decades, Swiss Chalet has become a part of being Canadian,” said Ally Tosello, senior director of marketing at Swiss Chalet. “We’re very proud that friends and family choose our restaurants to enjoy delicious food and make memories. With ‘Come Home to Swiss,’ we want to offer Canadians the chance to share their stories with others across the country.”
