Opio introduces video review service

Toronto-based software company Opio has released a new digital marketing service that allows local businesses to place video reviews from consumers on their websites. The service makes use of a mobile application that can be used to capture reviews at the point of sale.
“Opio is a business-centric review platform and we power reviews on our clients websites," said Rick Silver, CEO of Opio. “Reviews are the currency of the new economy and you can't beat the authenticity of video reviews. While we allow text reviews, a surprising number of people are happy to do a video review when it is meant for the business website.”
