Nasrabadi joins DHX Media

DHX Media of Halifax has appointed Amir Nasrabadi to the newly-created position of executive vice-president and general manager of its animation studio in Vancouver. He will begin work on June 10. Nasrabadi was most recently executive vice-president of finance and operations at Illumination. Prior to that, he was senior vice-president of production at Paramount Animation. He also spent 15 years at Walt Disney Studios, first as vice-president of finance and operations for DisneyToon Studios, then as vice-president and general manager of Pixar Canada.
