Mary Brown's begins 50th anniversary promotion

Fast food restaurant chain Mary Brown’s Chicken & Taters has begun a national contest promotion called “Winner Winner Click’n Dinner” tied to its 50th anniversary. During the contest, consumers will receive a card with an eligible purchase containing a code number. This number can be submitted online at the brand’s website to enter. The grand prize includes a trip for two to St. John’s, NL, where the chain was founded. This will be accompanied by a special event in August to commemorate the anniversary. As part of its anniversary promotion, the company has also introduced new branding, including an updated logo, a redesign of restaurant interiors and the use of the tagline, “Made Fresh from Scratch.”
“Our chicken comes in whole and fresh to each store where we cut and bread it by hand,” said company president and COO Hadi Chahin. “Likewise, our taters are handcrafted in each store from farm fresh Canadian potatoes. You can really taste the difference quality, fresh ingredients make.”
