TekSavvy TV launches in Toronto

Internet service provider TekSavvy Solutions has launched its TekSavvy TV Internet television service in Toronto. The subscription-based service will be operated in association with cable company Hastings Cable Vision. It will offer approximately 115 channels of high-definition sports, film, series and children’s programming, as well as on-demand content. This content can be views on an Internet-connected television, a computer or a mobile device.

“On the heels of our successful Chatham and Ottawa launches, we're excited to bring a simple and high-quality TV experience to our customers in Toronto,” said Marc Gaudrault, CEO of TekSavvy and president of Hastings Cable Vision. “We're responding to our customers' requests for innovative, competitive Canadian television alternatives, which TekSavvy TV is delivering with more value and a great, easy-to-use experience on select devices that they already own. We look forward to adding more devices, more features and more channels, and rolling out to more areas in the coming months.”
