St. Joseph Communications to acquire Rogers publishing division

St. Joseph Communications of Toronto has entered into an agreement to acquire the publishing division of Rogers Media. The division comprises seven consumer print and digital magazine properties: Maclean’s, Chatelaine in English and in French, Today’s Parent, Hello Canada, Flare and Canadian Business, as well as the company’s Custom Content unit. According to St. Joseph, all current Rogers Media Publishing employees will be offered employment. The deal is expected to close in April.
