Travelzoo readies Restaurant Month promotion

Online travel booking company Travelzoo is preparing a promotion called “Travelzoo Restaurant Month” which begin in April. The effort will take the form of a “virtual food festival” intended to encourage consumers to dine out. The festival will feature a list of fixed-price menu offers from a collection of Canadian restaurants, chosen in collaboration with television personality Mijune Pak. Reservations for these meals will be available exclusively to Travelzoo users. As part of the promotion, ride-sharing company Lyft will offer consumers in the Toronto area and Hamilton a five dollar credit.
Participating restaurants will include: Kiin, the O&B Café Grill and Rose and Sons in Toronto; the Gotham Steakhouse and The Mackenzie Room in Vancouver; The Guild and Minas Steakhouse in Calgary; and the Amsterdam Tea Room and Fusion Grill in Winnipeg.
