CIBC Aventura sponsors new Food Network online series

CIBC Aventura has signed-on as the exclusive sponsor of a new digital cooking series from Food Network Canada. The series, called Destination Dishes, will run for eight weeks on the channel’s Twitter page. Viewers will be invited to vote via Twitter for a destination-themed meal to be prepared by a Food Network chef. The show will debut on March 11. Destination Dishes is being produced by So.da, the in-house digital and social media division of Corus Entertainment.
“Corus' engaging social content, paired with meaningful partnerships, has created a successful format for So.da’s short-form Twitter series,” said Dervla Kelly, senior vice-president of marketing at Corus. “The recently launched series One Dirty Dish performed exceeding well with two million total video views, more than 11 million impressions of sponsored pre-roll and a completion rate two times the Twitter benchmark. We are excited to partner with CIBC Aventura on Destination Dishes, building on this initial success, as audiences continue to crave inspiring and accessible food content on social.”
