TVA Group buys Incendo

TVA Group has reached an agreement to acquire Incendo of Montreal. The company specializes in the production and distribution of television programs internationally. The purchase, worth approximately $19.5 million, is expected to close in several weeks. Incendo, founded in 2001, produces movies, television series and documentaries. It also handled theatrical distribution in Quebec for Paramount Pictures. The company has additional offices in Toronto and Los Angeles.
“TVA Group is happy to add Incendo, a local company with an international profile known for its excellent content, to its operations,” said France Lauzière, president and CEO of TVA Group. “The transaction is in keeping with our push to increase our revenues from other markets, step up our international development and expand our footprint, especially in English-language markets.”
