The Canadian Marketing Association has formed a partnership with Nabs Canada intended to provide support for and raise awareness of the organization. Nabs Canada provides support services to professionals in the marketing and communications industries. These services include short-term financial assistance, workshops, counseling and other assistance programs. Through this agreement, the CMA will provide space in its Chartered Marketer designation program to an individual identified by Nabs. The agreement also includes participation at various events, and expanded presence at the annual CMA Awards and partnerships with business schools and colleges.
“We are delighted to enter this partnership with Nabs because of the scope and calibre of its programs, focusing on the health, well-being and development of all individuals in the media, marketing, production and communications industry in Canada,” said John Wiltshire, president and CEO of the CMA. “The vast majority of the people Nabs serves are connected to one of our members, and we are well aware of the profound impact of Nabs’ assistance.”
