Peoples Jewellers conducts Valentine's Day campaign

Toronto-based jewellery retail chain Peoples Jewellers has begun an out-of-home campaign in that city timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day. The promotion invites consumers to submit a message to the person they love to be displayed on a digital billboard at Yonge-Dundas Square on Feb. 14. The campaign was developed by Juliet Creative.

“This initiative is just the latest example of Peoples’ commitment to advocating for love in all its forms,” said John McNamara, vice-president of marketing at Signet Jewelers, parent company of the chain. “Peoples has been love’s advocate since 1919 when we opened our first jewellery store in Toronto. From that moment, we’ve strived to help Canadians celebrate their love in myriad ways. I’m thrilled we were able to extend that role and help these couples express their love in a big way this Valentine’s Day.”
