Stella Artois conducts Pour it Forward promotion

Beer brand Stella Artois has begun a promotion called “Pour it Forward” in association with advocacy organization Water.org. The effort encourages Canadian consumers to support the group’s efforts to provide clean water to those without it in Mexico, Peru and Tanzania. During the initiative, Stella Artois will sell a limited edition branded chalice to raise funds for Water.org. The promotion will include the participation of local chefs and other personalities. The campaign will run until March 22, designated World Water Day. in the United States, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, Uruguay, Australia, the UK and South Korea.
“As we enter a monumental year to achieve our 2020 goal to help end the world water crisis, Stella Artois is looking to bring bigger and better ways to get Canadians more involved,” said Todd Allen, vice-president of marketing at Labatt Breweries of Canada. “Now in the fifth year of our partnership with Water.org, we’re looking to harness the power of both of our brands to create a movement of change and get all Canadians to ‘Pour it Forward.’”
