La Presse+ promotes new sections

La Presse of Montreal has begun an advertising campaign promoting the addition of two new sections to its La Presse+ tablet edition. The first new section, called Arts et être, will be published daily and will cover arts, culture, family, health and family. The second, called Inspiration, will be published each Saturday and will focus on travel, dining and real estate.

The ad campaign, developed by Cossette, is intended to illustrate the “fresh new energy” of the sections. The creative is intended to reflect the experience of swiping the screen of a tablet to access a diverse range of content. The campaign includes digital display ads, radio commercials and online banners.

“The arrival of the two new sections is great news for advertisers, as it considerably enhances the La Presse+ advertising offering,” said Patrick Jutras, vice-president of sales and operations at La Presse. “These never-seen-before innovative new environments will increase brands’ opportunities to reach engaged readers, curious consumers who are open to trends, a highly prized target for advertisers.”
