
Molson debuts new branding

Molson Coors Canada has begun a rebranding initiative. The brewer has debuted a new visual identity intended to unify its various products. It will appear on the packaging of the company's Molson Canadian, Molson Export, Molson Dry and Molson Cold Shots product lines. Developed by BrandOpus, the branding is intended to reflect the "pioneering spirit" of company founder John Molson. It will also appear in an upcoming advertising campaign called "History is in Your Hands."
"What a unique and humbling responsibility it is to uphold a heritage so rich," said Joy Ghosh, senior director of marketing at Molson Coors Canada. "I'm proud to be a caretaker of this legacy, and to share the Molson story and its impact in our Canadian community. This new visual identity, and supporting launch campaign, is not just about commemorating our 233-year history, but it's about our drive to keep the legacy going. To act today, and inspire tomorrow."
