PepsiCo readies Bubly ad for Super Bowl

PepsiCo Canada of Mississauga is preparing to release a new 30-second television commercial called "Can I have a Bublé?" The ad, which will break during the upcoming broadcast of the NFL Super Bowl championship game, features musician Michael Bublé. The ad promotes Pepsi's Bubly line of flavoured sparkling water beverages. The creative depicts Bublé as holding the mistaken belief that the product is named after him.
"Sparkling water fans across the country have fallen in love with Bubly and now we're thrilled to show-off its fun personality on the world's biggest stage with the help of a Canadian superstar," said Lourdes Seminario, director of marketing for the hydration portfolio at PepsiCo Canada. "We knew that Bublé was the perfect person to help people crack a smile. With his help, not only do we get to set the record straight that it's Bubly, not Bublé, we also get to showcase Bubly's four flavours."
