Civilized Worldwide buys Revolution Strategy

New Brunswick-based cannabis-focused media company Civilized Worldwide has acquired Revolution Strategy, a marketing communications agency based in Saint John, NB. Both companies were founded by the same people: Derek Riedle and Terri Riedle. Revolution will continue to operate as a separate entity, headed by marketing communications vice-president Anne McInerney and strategy vice-president Kathy Purcell.
"With this acquisition Civilized inherits expertise, experience and marketing capacity that will support its continued growth," said Mitchell Fox, a board member at Civilized Worldwide. "This is an important acquisition to remain competitive and to grow the company. Combining Revolution's marketing and public relations expertise with Civilized's multi-platform strategy will allow the companies to capitalize on more opportunities."
