Mall of America hires Imagination Park

The Mall of America in Bloomington, MN has retained XenoHolographic to develop an augmented reality installation for the holiday season. The "Mall of America Holiday Augmented Reality Experience" will make use of a mobile application to conduct visitors to the mall through a series of AR presentations. Each presentation will tell part of a holiday-themed story while providing a photographic opportunity. Consumers who complete the story will be entered into a draw for a shopping spree at the mall. Participants will also be encourages to share their experiences with others via social media. XenoHolographic is a subsidiary of Vancouver-based Imagination Park Entertainment.

"We continue seeking out new ways to bring moments of surprise and delight to our guests and are thrilled to partner with Imagination Park on this new venture for Mall of America."
