Navigator acquires Haddon Strategy

Toronto-based public affairs agency Navigator has acquired Haddon Strategy, also based in Toronto. Haddon will now operate as True and will offer a range of creative and digital services, including content development and community management. Shayna Haddon, founder of Haddon Strategy, has been appointed president and creative director of True.
"Last year we began an experiment in the digital space, and today we're growing that experiment 10-fold," said Jaime Watt, executive chairman of Navigator. "This delivers on our ongoing strategy of staying at the forefront of the changing landscape of public affairs communications and ensuring our clients reach their goals."
In related news, Chris Cowperthwaite has joined Naivgator as its head of digital campaign strategy. He was most recently the founder of consulting firm Groundforce Digital.
