Forsman & Bodenfors readies Canadian expansion

Melanie Johnston has joined Forsman & Bodenfors of Gothenburg, Sweden as chief executive officer of its Canadian operations. The agency, which recently announced a merger with KBS, is preparing to expand its operations to Canada by opening offices in Toronto and Montreal. Johnston was most recently president of DDB Canada. She will begin work on Oct. 8. Matt Hassell, formerly chief creative officer at KBS Canada, has been appointed chief creative officer of Forsman & Bodenfors for Canada.
