Government of British Columbia conducts wildfire campaign

The Government of British Columbia has begun an advertising campaign intended to raise awareness of the issue of wildfires. The campaign, developed by Camp Pacific, encourages consumers to practice safety with campfires and cigarettes while in the province's forests. The effort focuses on the ease with which a wildfire can destroy the experience of visiting a forest. The creative features large photographs depicting memories of time in a forest, each of which blends into the forest landscape behind it. The initiative includes a television commercial accompanied by radio and online display advertising, as well as 15- and six-second online pre-roll videos.
