Golf Town signs two sponsorship deals

Toronto-based golf retail chain Golf Town has signed sponsorship agreements with Canadian golfers Jennifer Ha and Augusta James. Both are currently playing on the developmental Symetra Tour in an effort to reach the LPGA Tour.

"Canada has some of the best young golfers in the world," said Frederick LeCoq, vice-president of marketing and electronic commerce at Golf Town. "We're doing everything we can to support them and their communities to keep growing the game across the country. Our goal is to help young professionals like Jennifer and Augusta, who will in turn inspire young men and women to head to the fairways and fall in love with this incredible game, one that can be played for a lifetime."
