Vice Media, Bell Media sign content deal
Vice Media has signed a content agreement with Bell Media by which approximately 640 hours of Vice content will appear on Bell Media television, mobile and digital properties. The two companies will also collaborate on sales activities for this content. Bell Media will also be the exclusive Canadian broadcaster of new original programming from US-based linear network Viceland. The programming will begin airing in the fall.
"With its new leadership, re-energized programming slate and US deal with Hulu, we are thrilled to welcome Vice to Bell Media in Canada," said Randy Lennox, president of Bell Media. "We see great opportunity with this new partnership and are very motivated for an exciting future with Vice."
