Lung Association of Ontario begins UnFun Balloon campaign
By Adnews Staff
The Lung Association of Ontario has begun a new campaign called "The UnFun Balloon" intended to raise awareness of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Developed by BBDO Toronto, the campaign encourages consumers to try inflating a balloon as a test of their own lung health. The initiative includes an online video and a website at <http://www.theunfunballoon.ca>, as well as transit advertising depicting an empty balloon. In addition, free balloons will be distributed through participating retailers and the organization will mail balloons directly to consumers in the Greater Toronto Area.
"Many people have no knowledge of this deadly disease, so we're glad to partner with the Lung Association of Ontario to help raise awareness," said Chris Booth, associate creative director at BBDO Toronto. "A simple test can be a life-saver."
