Adbank hires 1Milk2Sugars

Advertising technology company Adbank has retained 1Milk2Sugars of Toronto as its North American public relations agency of record. The assignment also includes media relations and social media activities. The agency won the account in a request-for-proposals process. Adbank's product is a cryptocurrency intended to reduce fraud in online advertising marketplaces.
"We went through a rigorous RFP process pitting them against tech PR agencies, but with their proven track record and disruptive approach, it's no surprise that the Sugars came out on top," said Kelsey Cole, chief strategy officer at Adbank. "As a tech company, this pairing may seem like a surprise to some, but the decision was strategic and purposeful. 1Milk2Sugars already works with several major advertisers and the kind of clients we want to work with, so they get our target market better than any tech agency could. Blockchain adoption is a major PR story right now, so we needed real pros with serious chops to help us get ink, ink we don't want to share with other blockchain startups that fight for coverage at the few agencies that do specialize in this space.
