Nintendo conducts summer tour

Video game company Nintendo of Canada recently retained Smak of Vancouver as its experiential marketing agency. The firm is managing a touring promotion called the "Nintendo Switch Summer Tour" that will consist of special events in seven Canadian cities. The events feature an elevated stage inside a tent offering access to Nintendo's Switch and Labo products. The venue also hosts video game competitions.
"Our goal is to provide people with fun social media photo opportunities that are unexpected, further playing into the concept of surprising and delighting people throughout the Summer Tour," said Luke Hall, social media manager at Smak.
