Rock-it Promotions adds new clients

Rock-it Promotions of Toronto has recently gained a number of new accounts. Toronto shopping centre Yorkville Village has retained the firm as its agency of record. The assignment includes brand strategy, event management, media relations and influencer activities. Rock-it won the account in a competitive review.

Wellness Foods has also retained the company as agency of record for its SimplyProtein snack brand. The assignment includes communications strategy, influencer activities and media relations.

The United Way has hired Rock-it to participate in the development a national campaign that will begin in the fall. The firm will be part of an inter-agency group. The public relations component will include events, local promotion, corporate partnerships, influencer activities and media relations.

Rock-it has been hired to conduct a national media tour for an upcoming figure skating performance series called the Thank You Canada Tour. The tour will feature figure skaters including Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Patrick Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko.

Bogs Footwear has retained Rock-it as its agency of record. The assignment includes media and influencer relations, as well as events and brand strategy.

In related news, Rock-it Promotions has recently added eight new staff members. Sarah Rigler has joined the firm as an account director. Fontane Choi has been hired as an account manager. Ciara Dalziel and Alexandra Scarlato have been hired as a senior account specialists. Jessica Moy has joined the agency as a senior account and social media coordinator. Allison Yakeley has been hired as an account coordinator. Kristen MacLellan has joined the company's influencer management division Fourth Floor Management as talent coordinator.
