Garnier begins SkinActive online campaign

Garnier Canada has begun an online campaign for its SkinActive face mask brand. Developed by Publicis of Montreal, the initiative consists of 65 six-second video ads that will run on YouTube. Each version of the ad incorporates text related to various trending categories on the site. The ads use the tagline, "Mask. Relax. Glow." Garnier Canada is a division of L'Oréal Canada.

"Masks are the perfect product for this tool as they are now such a regular part of our consumers' daily lives," said Bryn Gallagher, creative director at Publicis. "They've gone from being the trend of the moment to an established habit. We wanted to communicate the insight that you can mask anytime, even when you're watching YouTube videos. We were attracted by the innovative nature of this technology, which brings precision targeting and understanding of consumer behaviour to a whole new level."
