Labatt readies Bud Light House Party Tour

Labatt Breweries of Canada has begun a promotion for its Bud Light beer brand called the "Bud Light House Party Tour." This is the first time the promotion has been conducted in Canada. It will consist of events in three cities that will include musical performances and clothing collaborations.
The initiative will begin on July 11 in Toronto with a performance by Ty Dolla Sign, followed by a show in Vancouver on Aug. 1 by French Montana and concluding with an event in Montreal in late summer by Nervo. Each show will also feature branded apparel designed by Gucci Ghost. One consumer at each event will receive an item based on its performer. The shows will also be streamed live on Facebook and Twitter.
"Bud Light stands for bringing people together through music and unique experiences, shared over a beer," said Todd Allen, vice-president of marketing at Labatt. "The house party is bringing some of today's biggest artists back to their roots. Before the stadium tours and sold out venues, it all started in a house surrounded by friends."
