CTV signs Amazing Race sponsors

CTV has signed a series of sponsorship agreements in support of its competition series The Amazing Race Canada. Automobile brand Chevrolet will return as a sponsor for a sixth year. The company will conduct a Twitter-based contest as part of its sponsorship. Consumers can enter by answering online questions. The winner will receive a 2018 Traverse Redline, the same model of vehicle that the company will contribute to the show's grand prize package.
Outdoor equipment company Woods will sponsor the series for a second year. New sponsors will include Alcon Dailies Contact Lenses, Dempster's, The Royal Canadian Legion and SkipTheDishes. As part of its sponsorship, Alcon Dailies will present a series of online contests at CTV.ca which will offer a $1,000 weekly prize and a $10,000 grand prize.
"The Amazing Race Canada continues to be a sought-after series for sponsors, as proven by yet another strong group of partners for season six," said Laird White, director of brand partnerships at Bell Media. "With this summer's heroes theme, expect plenty of fun, branded content and interactive viewer features all season long."
The new season of Amazing Race Canada will begin on July 3.
