Walmart conducts Mother's Day promotion

Walmart Canada of Mississauga will conduct a Mother's Day promotion at a Toronto store from May 11 to 13. During this time, a Walmart location in Scarborough will be remade into a "MOMmart" and will host a series of events and promotions aimed at mothers. The initiative also includes the start of the company's annual Children's Miracle Network fundraising campaign.
"Moms do so much each and every day, with no ask for recognition, but they certainly deserve it," said Tammy Sadinsky, vice-president of marketing communications at Walmart Canada. "This never-before-done transformation in one of our communities is our way of sharing a small token of our appreciation for moms everywhere."
