Reputation.ca debuts consumer privacy services

Toronto-based digital public relations agency Reputation.ca has introduced two new online privacy services for consumers. The services are intended to help users secure their online privacy when using social media, email, online forums and other systems. The services include a social media privacy check, a report of the user's public online information, removal of personal information from data brokerage sites and additional security measures.
"People are starting to become more aware of the depth, detail and correlation of the data that is stored about them by tech giants like Google and Facebook and many of them are horrified," said agency president Matt Earle. "We want to help people lock down their accounts and opt out of the tracking so they are less exposed."
