White Spot begins BC's Own campaign
By Adnews Staff
Vancouver-based restaurant chain White Spot has begun a new advertising campaign in British Columbia. The campaign, called "BC's Own," highlights the brand's history in the province, with a focus on its use of locally-sourced ingredients. The marketing initiative, described by the company as the biggest in its history, features real staff members and customers. It consists of television, radio, out-of-home, digital and mobile advertising, as well as online video and social media activities. The campaign was developed by One Twenty Three West, with media work from DSA Media.
"If you grew up in BC, you probably have fond memories of White Spot," said Rob Sweetman, executive creative director of One Twenty Three West. "We wanted to remind people of why they fell in love with the brand in the first place, while welcoming newcomers. If you're in BC, this is a place you have to visit."
