Paytm Canada debuts bill payment loyalty program
Toronto-based financial services Paytm Canada has launched a new loyalty program through which consumers will receive loyalty points by paying bills. The service makes use of a mobile application with which users can pay bills to approximately 5,000 entities using a bank account, debit card, participating credit cards or by cash at a Canada Post location. The free app is available for Android and Apple devices.
"Consumers will increasingly choose digital channels to access all kinds of financial services if they are offered a superior experience," said Harinder Takhar, CEO of Paytm Canada. "Paytm Canada is improving and modernizing the experience of managing day-to-day finances for Canadians, and we will continue to build secure digital products and services that promote a rewarding experience."
