Food Network signs Top Chef sponsors

Food Network Canada has signed a series of sponsorship agreements for the upcoming season of competition television series Top Chef Canada. The sponsorships include on-air promotion, product integration, prize giveaways and additional components. Monogram will continue as the show's exclusive major appliance sponsor, providing equipment for use in the show and contributing $25,000 in kitchen products to the grand prize. Interac will also return as the show's payment method sponsor. The company will sponsor an in-show challenge as well as a co-branded weekly contest for viewers. Beringer will also continue to be the program's wine sponsor. This agreement includes an on-air challenge and a series of online videos.

New sponsors include small appliance supplier Cuisinart, which will contribute $5,000 in products to the grand prize and will also appear in an on-air challenge. Montellier has signed on as the show's sparkling water sponsor. McCormick will be the season's seasonings sponsor, while Avocados from Mexico has also signed on as a sponsor. Both of these agreements will also include on-air challenges.

"The return of such high profile brands such as Monogram, Interac and Beringer is a testament of the value our clients see in this series through their sponsorship and in-show integrations," said Lynn Chambers, vice-president at Corus Tempo. "We're also excited to have the opportunity to creatively integrate several new brands this season that will deliver paramount partnership experiences in-show and connect seamlessly with Food Network Canada's broad and engaged audience."

The new season of Top Chef Canada will begin on April 8. Food Network Canada is a property of Corus Entertainment.
