The Give Agency readies non-profit workshop program

The Give Agency and Sun Life Financial are preparing a four-day initiative in Toronto that will provide free marketing support to charitable organizations. From March 26 to 29, approximately 120 marketing and public relations professionals will volunteer their expertise to develop new ideas for non-profit groups with marketing concerns. This will be the second year this initiative has been conducted.
"In just two years, our volunteers have delivered over one million dollars worth of time, expertise and fundraising revenues for organizations like United Way, Second Harvest and Feed Nova Scotia," said Mike Maloney, co-founder of The Give Agency. "We're seeing an incredible desire for people to use their talents, not just their time, to make the world a better place, and that's what The Give Agency does. It's a fast-paced environment designed to create an incredible amount of change in just one day."
