Export Development Canada hires McCann

Export Development Canada of Ottawa has retained McCann Canada as its marketing agency of record. The firm won the account in a competitive request-for-proposals process. The assignment includes brand strategy, creative development, event marketing, direct marketing, digital initiatives and social media activities. McCann will service the account from its Montreal office in collaboration with Media Experts, an affiliated agency which has been hired to manage media planning and buying. Export Development Canada is a Crown corporation that works to assist Canadian companies sell products and invest in foreign markets.
